Ontario and Alberta: licensed operators only

Under the Criminal Code, online casino games in Canada are run or licensed by the provinces. Ontario (since April 2022) and Alberta (since July 2026) run regulated markets in which only operators registered with the provincial regulator may offer casino games to residents. We do not promote offshore casino offers to people in Ontario or Alberta. Elsewhere, the provincial lottery corporation runs the only government-authorised site. How this site works

Persephone Casino is an independent editorial site. Our editor, Nora Quinn, checks payment facts against bank, card-network and regulator pages and dates every update. We do not publish ratings we cannot justify or bonus terms we cannot confirm. Some pages contain affiliate links, which never change what we write.
